Family law attorney Samantha McBride is detail-oriented, passionate, and zealous. From an early age, she knew that she wanted to follow in her mother’s and grandfather’s footsteps by pursuing a career in the legal field. Samantha’s grandfather, who served as an Orange County Superior Court judge, helped raise her to be competitive and to have a relentless work ethic. Growing up, Samantha excelled in both academics and sports as a tri-varsity athlete.

Samantha attended the University of California Riverside on a division 1 soccer scholarship. By her sophomore year, she was captain of the team and on the dean’s list. Samantha has a kind-hearted nature and has always been devoted to protecting the interests of children. Over the next few years she spent most of her free time volunteering as a student-athlete mentor and with a program helping special needs children to stay active. In 2011, she received her bachelor’s degree, graduating with high honors.

Taking no time off, Samantha started attending Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law later that year. In law school, her interest in family law solidified when she started working for a family violence clinic as certified student attorney. During her time there, she played an integral role both in presenting the domestic violence protection order process at pro per workshops and in assisting clients with their domestic violence issues. She also received the highest class grade in Family Violence-Protection Orders. Samantha received her Juris Doctorate in 2014 and passed the California Bar Exam later that year.

As a member of the Holstrom, Block & Parke team, Samantha is learning the intricacies of family law from some of the most prestigious and experienced attorneys in California. She also plays a big role in consulting with potential clients regarding their legal issues and catering to their needs.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and spending time with her friends, family, and Australian Cattle Dog mix
